Full vellum binding, tight,  with gold titles to front and spine. Top edge gilt. Galsworthy's wartime experiences in France during World War 1, working for the Red Cross helping Belgium refugees are reflected through Soames in this work. Galsworthy died 3 years after signing the book. An attractive time piece of this author.
