1st edition. Limited No. 1154 of 1250 numbered copies signed by the author with copperplate engraving by Stephen Gooden. Natural buckram with gilt titles to spine. Stiff paper
dust wrapper, with red stencil design, a small tear to op edge (6mm). Edges rough cut. PP286 on Japon Vellum. In excellent clean and bright condition throughout. The book is dedicated by Moore to Lady Cunard, with whom he conducted a long lasting love affair. He writes " I have come to think of you as an evening fountain under embosoming trees…" the imagery of which Stephen Gooden has captured in his engraving.
