London, Thomas Roycroft for Richard Blome, 1673. First Edition. Small folio size approx 320mm x 200mm. Title within double ruled lined border. Dedication. Preface [5]. Table of Benefactors [5], 24 engraved leaves showing 806 Coats of Arms. Folding engraved map of the British Isles. 50 folded engraved maps of counties of England and district maps of Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Islands within pp464. Contemporary full calf, five raised bands with gilt decoration within each. Red gilt title piece. Binding bumped at edges, spines weakening at edges. Later book label of Gloddaeth Library on front pastedown. Manuscript signature of Thos. Mostyn of Gloddaeth, who is included in the list of benefactors. The map of Norfolk has a 11cm hole within engraved area, otherwise all pages and maps are in near-fine condition.
