Gilt decorated spine with 5 raised bands, green and gilt title piece. All edges and endpapers marbled. Full page illustrated frontis, title, half title, preface [ix]-x, contents [xi]-xii, 622. With 250 illustrations by the Brothers Dalziel, many full page. Contents include Open Air Pastimes, Christmas Games, Home occupations and Home Studies. Charlotte Yonge one of the contributors and a detailed description of photography processes is included. Binding has very light wear to edges, otherwise in fine condition.
