Quarter cloth and marbled paper by Enrico Ricciardi. PP 54, colophon. The paper is magnani Velata avorio 'Biblos' with Monadnock Dulcet used for the photographs and the facsimile of William McCance's notebook, which were printed by J.W. Northend in Sheffield. Smith Settle bound this edition. With facsimile note book and cheque and many tipped in illustrations. The book illustrates much background to the relation ship between the two men and the design and development of Lawrence's Seven Pillars of Wisdom and McCance many designs including that of the Gregynog Singing Caravan. A fine book in fine condition.
