2 volumes, 8 vo, quarter morocco on decorated boards, gilt title
to spine. Pp42, 40 each volume with 21 engravings from Bewicks
original wood blocks. Lacks slip case. Light age tone to book
edges, very light fox to pastedowns and blank prelims. All pages
and engravings in fine condition throughout, good strong imprint
of engravings. With original visiting card of Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Reed Ferriss loosely inserted. An attractive limited
edition of Bewick prints from original blocks. Scarce. |
