Limited 500 copies of the New editon form the 1940 original edition with extra photographs. Blue cloth, paper label to spine, blind stamp of T.E.S. to front. Pp183, colophon. An attractive account of T E lawrence's time at RAF Flying-Boat Station, Mountbatten, Plymouth. The Golden Reign was Lawrences name for the time he spend at Mountbatten, a time his mother records as a time of 'complete contentment' for Lawrence. Fine condition.

Quarter cloth and marbled paper by Enrico Ricciardi. PP 54, colophon. The paper is magnani Velata avorio 'Biblos' with Monadnock Dulcet used for the photographs and the facsimili of William McCance's notebook, which were printed by J.W. Northend in Sheffield. Smith Settle bound this edition. With facsimili note book and cheque and many tipped in illustrations. The book illustrates much background to the relation ship between the two men and the design and development of Lawrences Seven Pillars of Wisdom and McCance many designs including that of the Gregynog Singing Caravan. A fine book in fine condition.
