Also loose is a Gregynog Press receipted invoice for the purchase of the book by Lord Kenyon of Gredington dated 4th November 1940. Lord Kenyon (1917 - 1993) was trustee of the National Portrait gallery from 1953 to 1988, President of the National Museum of Wales from 1952 to 1957 and President Of University College North Wales from 1947 to 1982. The last book from the early Gregynog Press with a very fitting association, in excellent order throughout. |
