With 3 scales and arrows showing the seasonal wind directions. Map area covers modern day Southern India, Sri Lanka [Ceylon], the southern tip of Burma [Myranmar]. The island groups of The Maldives, Andermann and Nicobar are also included together with the Bay of Bengal. This map is from "Atlas de Toutes les Parties Connues du Globe Terrestre." Size 375mm x .250mm. Two folds. Hand coloured outline. In excellent condition. Very clean and bright.
