Map engraved by Rapkin. Size approx 360 x 260mm. Original steel engraved map. Decorative border enclosing 5 panels of pictoral representation of Waterfalls from highest to lowest of the Western Hemishere, measured in feet: Overview of many Islands including New Zealand, Cuba, New Foundland and the Azores: The Lakes overview include the American Great Lakes. Rivers are displayed in graduating length in Miles showing the Mississippi and Amazon as the longest and the Potomac and Hudson as the shortest. Mountains are organised a mountainous formation, measure in feet, include Cotopaxi, Mt Erebus, Cape Horn, Popacateptl and the Blue Mountains of Jamaica. Single page unfolded sheet in excellent, clean condition.
