Buck, Samuel and Nathaniel: West View of Valle Crucis Abby [Abbey], in the County of Denbigh. 1742. Original copper engraving. Sheet size is approx. 450mm x 275mm and the engraved plate area is approx. 375mm x 195mm. With dedication to Sir Watkin Williams Wynn and brief history of the Abbey which is located in fields beneath steep mountains near Llangollen in North Wales. Two very small tears [7mm] to lower blank edge well outside plate area, otherwise a good, clean, strong, bright attractive topographical engraving.
